Bridge 2

This bridge isn't on all maps and in fact when I first visited here,I mistook it for Bridge 1.When you first climb up the small bank and stand on the top of the bridge,it's not too inspiring and looks ordinary,it's from the side that this bridge needs to be viewed to appreciate its beauty. When seen from the side, with it's moss and ivy growing on it and with the river trickling beneath,to me it looked like something out of a fairy tale.

I found it difficult to imagine a train going over this bridge,as the bridge and setting just didn't seem "industrial" if you know what I mean, but such are the hidden delights of the Exe Valley Railway! What a lovely bridge it is and again I worry about its preservation.Who if anyone is responsible for it?Is it listed?I don't know, but will endeavour to find out.

Moving on we tried to find Bridge 3 whose tunnel used to go under the road.
